7 Remember this and never forget how you aroused the anger of the Lord your God in the wilderness. From the day you left Egypt until you arrived here, you have been rebellious against the Lord. 8 At Horeb you aroused the Lord’s wrath so that he was angry enough to destroy you.

8 Even at Horeb you provoked the Lord to wrath, and the Lord was so angry with you that he was ready to destroy you.

7 Remember, do not forget, that you provoked Yahweh your God in the desert, and from the day that you went out from the land of Egypt until you came to this place you were rebelling against Yahweh.

8 “And remember at Horeb you provoked Yahweh, and Yahweh became angry enough to destroy you.

7 Here is something you must remember. Never forget it. You made the Lord your God angry in the desert. You refused to obey him from the day you left Egypt until you arrived here.

8 At Mount Horeb you made the Lord angry enough to destroy you.

8 “Even at Horeb you provoked the Lord to wrath, and the Lord was so angry with you that He would have destroyed you.
